And oddly enough, from friends and people who contact me via AIM, the weird Drow Elf piccy seems to get the most compliments. Someone (A friend I RP with a lot) told me it was because it added a big touch of surrealism to the gallery.

Are the fairies you created the kind, sharing, benevalent type; or the woodland creatures of the world unite(humans are evil)type?
I recommend you try life drawing, it's one of the best ways of learning proper anatomy. Start out by trying simple, every day objects(a tree,a table,things inside your apartment,etc.). Most people avoid drawing these types of things, only to learn later that when they attempt to draw them down the road, they get frustrated because they can't draw a simple bowl of fruit. When it comes to drawing people, you can always enlist the help of those you know (like maybe the friend you mentioned in you "monster" pic). If at 1st they are uncomfortable about the prospect of you staring directly into their face for long periods of time; have them start out by doing something "every day-ish" (ie;playing video games).There's no better way to learn how to draw(and there for learn) the human form, then to study it directly. A picture is fine for source material, but they lack substance & weight. Once you get used to doing this(drawing people you know from real life), you'll notice an improvement on your over-all drawing skills; plus you'll begin to understand how movement of the human figure affects things such as muscles and also the way light can change the entire look of what your attempting to draw. Also, I highly recommend a paperback book(if you want to further learn how to draw proper anatomy) called Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist, by Stephen Rogers Peck, at your local Barnes & Noble(or book-chain equivalent), for $14.95. You have a cozy little nook in these here woods, I hope to see more of your work soon!
